Cut Homophobia - Israeli TV Campaign Against Homophobia

Feature Film Israel 2009

A series of thirty films and video clips directed by twenty-two directors, with the intention of raising public awareness of homophobia. After a preview at the Knesset, the Israeli parliament, these films were broadcast on national television. Even though homosexual marriages have been permitted in Israel since 2007 and adoptions by lesbian couples since 2005, there have been many episodes of violence against gay people in the country. A project created and produced by director Idan Sagiv Richter and Yair Hochner, heading the GLBTQ Festival in Tel Aviv.
